Fajitas & ‘Ritas

March 6, 2010

Hi Everyone! Sorry for the missing dinner post last night. Z and I met up with a friend of his from college and his girlfriend and took a trip to Fajitas & ‘Ritas.

If you are ever in Boston and want to eat somewhere fun, cheap, and with mass amounts of cheese, Fajitas & ‘Ritas is your place! By no means come here if you are trying to stick to any form of dairy or fat free diet πŸ™‚ But for a special treat, this place rocks!

Located right off of Park Street and Boston Common, it was pretty busy on a Friday night, so while we waited for a table we had a few ‘ritas πŸ™‚ I love how cheap this is…a huge carafe that fills 4 glasses is only $12.

The menus here are fun too, you get to fill out an order form with everything you want. Say you, like me, want to order nachos. You check of the box for a one person serving, and then circle all of the toppings you want: I chose lettuce, guacamole, jalapenos, olives, and salsa. All for about $6. Then it comes to the table looking like this:

Re-dic-u-lous. This was enough for at least two people, if not three! But man, if you are craving nachos (or any other form of Tex Mex goodness) this is the place to be. The guacamole was awesome, and they definitely don’t skimp on any of the toppings. Z and our friends got the quesadillas and the fajitas, both of which were awesome. And if you are worried about making a mess, there is a roll of paper towels on each table. Classy πŸ˜‰

I would love to come here with any group of people ready for a fun night. The place may seem crowded when you first get there, but the tables are out of the way of the door and you definitely feel like you have some privacy once you sit down. We laughed and reminisced about 90s rock all night. Good friends, good food, good margaritas!

The sun is shining here in Boston, and its calling my name! I’ll be back later with a yum homemade dinner πŸ™‚
